About the airline Aerolineas Argentinas
The airline was privatised in the 1990s and then nationalised in 2008. Its subsidiary Austral Líneas Aéreas followed the same path and offers only domestic flights. As it grew, the airline modernised its fleet to minimise its CO2 impact. In 2012, it joined the SkyTeam alliance and is currently the only South American airline member of the alliance. The airline offers 60 destinations around the world.
