Air Canada will bring forward the return of its Toronto–Tel Aviv air connection by more than six weeks. The resumption is scheduled for 30 November 2026, instead of the previously announced 17 January 2027.
The airline had suspended this route in March 2026. It cites an in-depth assessment of the security environment in the Middle East, as well as operational, safety and security considerations.
The route will operate year-round, with four flights per week. Departures from Tel Aviv are scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Air Canada will use Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliners. The aircraft will offer three cabins: Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy.
For travellers, this resumption restores a direct flight between Canada and Israel. It also facilitates connections via Toronto to the rest of Air Canada's North American network, particularly to Canada, the United States and Latin America.
