Belavia is the successor to the Belarusian Civil Aviation Association, which had received the fleet from the Belarusian Administration in 1991, following the collapse of the USSR. In France, it operates flights to Paris and Nice. Belavia also flies to Asia and Africa. The airline offers a loyalty programme « Belavia Leader » allowing customers to accumulate points for free flight tickets or car hire.
