The Polish carrier is now rolling out satellite Wi-Fi on its Boeing 787 Dreamliners, allowing passengers to stay connected over the Atlantic and on flights to Asia. Thanks to this investment, the airline is modernising its cabins and aligning itself with the standards of the best international airlines. Travellers can now send messages, check their emails, or browse the web in mid-flight. This service is part of a broader strategy to move upmarket and aims to attract a demanding business clientele on its long-haul routes departing from Warsaw. By enabling Internet access at an altitude of 10,000 metres, LOT Polish Airlines is enhancing the appeal of its long-haul destinations and ensuring a connected journey.

Carbon offsetting programmes
Since 2019, the airline has been working with state forests under the Forest Carbon Farms program, aimed at finding solutions to offset CO2 emissions. This cooperation is still ongoing.
Optimisation of flight operations
The airline has put in place a single-engine taxi procedure after landing and optimises its flight routes. It also uses the Airport Briefing Sheet, a tool that allows crews to access real-time data, such as the amount of fuel needed for a flight, to optimise air routes.
Other environmental initiatives
The airline optimises the weight of its aircraft by eliminating unnecessary supplies on board, which enables it to save more than 300 tonnes of fuel per year. Among the measures implemented are the elimination of paper publications, replacing catering carts with lightweight models, and introducing electronic flight bags (EFBs). The airline also reduces plastic and paper usage by favouring reusable or biodegradable products. A waste sorting system has been established.
