The airline Pegasus Airlines is strengthening its international connectivity by partnering with Iberia through a codeshare agreement. This agreement allows Pegasus passengers to access 13 additional destinations operated by Iberia from Madrid, including 11 Spanish cities such as Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Seville or Malaga, as well as Lisbon in Portugal and São Paulo in Brazil. Madrid-Barajas Airport becomes a key hub for these connections. Pegasus serves Istanbul (Sabiha Gökçen), giving its passengers the opportunity to connect to Spain, Portugal and South America via Iberia, with smooth connections and a free shuttle between the terminals to facilitate transit.
This strategic partnership enables Pegasus Airlines to offer a wider choice of destinations without modifying its fleet, while enhancing the customer experience with simplified connections and an expanded European and South American network. The airline is thus consolidating its position in the Iberian and American markets while improving the service for passengers travelling from Turkey to these regions. Through this cooperation, Pegasus Airlines is giving its customers expanded access to key destinations in Europe and South America, while consolidating Istanbul as a central hub for its international flights and simplifying connections for a smoother journey.
