From 28 June 2026, Volotea will offer 2 direct flights between Biarritz and Lille each week, linking Biarritz-Pays Basque Airport and Lille-Lesquin Airport, operating on Thursdays and Sundays. With this new air route, the Spanish airline is making more than 7,500 seats available for the summer season and is targeting leisure travel and short family breaks. With two weekly flights, this direct Biarritz–Lille air connection makes it easier to travel between the Basque Country and Hauts-de-France. It strengthens Volotea's domestic French air network and meets the growing demand for domestic flights. Passengers can therefore quickly reach the major cities in the north while enjoying the beaches and Basque hinterland, and vice versa for travellers from the north looking for getaways on the Atlantic coast.
