Easyjet at Nantes Atlantique Airport (NTE)

On 30 November 2025, EasyJet launched the direct Nantes–Gran Canaria route, with 2 weekly Nantes–Las Palmas de Gran Canaria flights offered year-round, rather than only during the summer season. Gran Canaria enjoys a mild climate even in winter, making it an attractive destination for a sunny getaway at any time of year. To support this launch, the low-cost airline, in partnership with the Gran Canaria Tourism Board, is rolling out a local campaign in Nantes, visible in taxis and on social media, with the slogan « Trade your swimsuit for the Canaries ». With this new route, Nantes Atlantique Airport is strengthening its connectivity to the Canary Islands, offering residents of western France a direct connection to a destination renowned for its beaches, climate and atmosphere. With its year-round direct Nantes–Gran Canaria flight, EasyJet is reaffirming its ambition to make sunny destinations more accessible from France’s regions. This launch gives Travellers an affordable, direct option for their getaways, while further strengthening Nantes Atlantique Airport’s role as a key hub for international leisure flights.
