At the end of September 2025, Smartwings launched its first direct flight between Toulouse Blagnac Airport and Prague-Václav-Havel Airport. The air connection operates twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This air route aims to facilitate exchanges between Toulouse, an aeronautical and technological hub, and Prague, a cultural and economic capital. Toulouse‑Blagnac Airport sees this arrival as a way to diversify its international network. The city of Toulouse is thus strengthening its appeal and its connectivity with Eastern Europe. Thanks to this new Toulouse–Prague flight, Smartwings is opening a gateway to Central Europe from Occitanie while expanding the range of services available from Toulouse Airport. Travellers benefit from a direct and regular air connection that promotes cultural, economic and academic exchanges while creating new tourism and mobility opportunities between the Occitanie region and Prague.
