For the 2026 autumn-winter season, EasyJet is strengthening its network from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport with 2 new strategic routes. The main new development is the launch of a direct flight from Nice to Cairo starting on 27 October 2026. Operating twice a week, this unprecedented air connection from France provides quick access to the Giza pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum and the must-see attractions of ancient Egypt. Flights are available from €75 one way, making trips to the Middle East and winter sun destinations even more appealing. EasyJet is also launching a new air connection from Nice to Lyon with 2 weekly flights starting on 26 October 2026. This domestic route makes travel between the French Riviera and the Lyon region easier, both for business trips and short breaks. With these new destinations, Nice Airport confirms its role as a major tourism and air transport hub in the Mediterranean, offering an ever-wider range of direct flights, city breaks and international trips departing from southern France.
