The transfer options to the Paris-CDG hub are changing. As of 1 March 2026, the iconic RoissyBus shuttle will be retired. This major change to the passenger journey marks the end of an era for travellers accustomed to reaching the airport by road from the city centre. To make up for this loss, the transport strategy now centres on a new strategic hub: Saint-Denis-Pleyel. The 9517 express bus route, bus routes 350 and 351 and the RER B are taking over to transport travellers to the terminals. The RER B stands out as the most efficient option, with frequent services every 6 to 15 minutes providing direct access to the various airport terminals. This transitional phase paves the way for the arrival of next-generation rail solutions. The future CDG Express, slated for 2027, will connect the heart of Paris to the terminals in just 20 minutes flat. While awaiting the opening of automated Metro Line 17, Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport is banking on enhanced intermodal connectivity.
