From 13 January 2026, Air France will operate 3 weekly Paris–Punta Cana flights, scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, through 28 March 2026. This air connection is intended to meet rising demand for the Caribbean. After suspending its flights to the Dominican Republic in 2023 due to low demand and a local fuel surcharge, Air France is finally relaunching the destination three years later. This year, the island is emerging as a must-see tourist destination. With more than 6 million visitors in the first half of 2025, the Dominican Republic is confirming its appeal and setting a record for the Caribbean: the highest number of visitors ever recorded over a six-month period, further consolidating its position as the Caribbean’s leading tourism market. Air France therefore hopes to boost its visibility through this partnership, which marks a new step in its strategy for the Caribbean–Americas region, where it is already investing heavily to strengthen its presence and capture a share of the rapidly growing market.
